We Hit a New Record with Google Analytics
I would like to give a big thank you for being apart of Adventure Sport NQ’s awesome events and really friendly community. Late last year we asked you what you loved and what we could improve on for future ASNQ (events mainly). And to show you that we have been working hard at it when we’re not working in our real jobs we have had Google Analytics keeping track of every move you make.. well not you personally but every one as a whole on our website.
What’s in the Analytics?
If you’ve got this far into this article you must be eager to hear about our new record which I’ll write about now. In the month of March we have had 3100 visits and over 9500 page views with each person spending just under 4 minutes entering and checking out new races. That is 10% more visits than we received last year for the well known Redlynch Valley Estate Multisport Race which of course you know is coming on the 22nd of May. The bounce rate are visitors clicking on our website (e.g from Google) and decide it’s not what they are looking for, this is minutely above average due to haveing such popular keywords like ‘sport’ and ‘adventure’.
How did we get there?
To be short I’ll list what we have worked on to make your life easier.
- A new page layout for all events to keep them more systematic and less clicking
- An updated newsletter template with more consistent emails about events
- You can now subscribe to blog updates by entering your email on the Blog page
- We’re now implementing a Facebook page, get over there and Like Us
- Of course the new ASNQ t-shirts which nicely gets the word out while your having fun
What can I do to help..? Please Torque!
For starters if you haven’t seen the massive post it on the front page you must have really fast internet or come here straight from Google because I’ve used the words Google Analytics multiple times. Ok just once more to ramp it up.. Google Analytics!!!!
Getting back to the point Torque is a Discussion Forum which is aimed at helping adventure sport enthusiasts and with your help learn more about adventure sport, find training or race partners, ask questions like what do I need to bring and give feedback. So if you would like to join in on the discussion click on the graphic below.
