Don’t just kickstart your Trail Running year – blast it right off with an explosive mix of dirt, water, awesome single track, funky obstacles and laughter as detonators. Expect challenge, fun and sweat to spray like shrapnel when you choose to run for 30 dirty minutes or 60 sweaty ones over the 1.5km loop course, just don’t expect to clock up more miles than smiles! The Dirty 30 Sweaty 60 Adventure Run again joins the Adventures on a Summers Weekend, the annual come ‘n’ try weekend of outdoor sports.

What’s it all about?
Those keen to take part in the most-fun run in NQ are asked to enter online before Friday 22nd at 5pm. Online entry is preferred as numbers are limited and it guarantees you a spot on the start line, but also makes the organisers’ job so much simpler. The course is close to finalised with some challenging as well as new obstacles and we are confident the Dirty 30 Sweaty 60 Adventure Run will be a great way to keep running fun, and novel!
Choose to run for 30 dirty minutes or 60 sweaty ones, either way the time will pass quicker than on any run you’ve done before!

Dirty 30 Sweaty 60 Courses 2012
Dirty 30
Competitors must complete their final lap within 30 minutes
Sweaty 60
For runners finishing within – you guessed it – 60 minutes
Runners can, of course, finish after this time limit but for the purpose of results it is only the laps completed prior to the cut-off that will be considered. As several of the course obstacles are likely to cause bottlenecks, expect to start in waves or with a staggered start (depending on total numbers) rather than a group start.
Runners will weave through a loop of around 1.5ks throughout the Barrabadeen peninsula. Upon return to the start line, runners can head off for their second, third and fourth laps etc.
The map depicts the rip roaring 2012 course – expect a similar loop with some new obstacles. Return here closer to the event for the final course.
